Step I: Assessment & Acceptance

Patients who desire to have their teeth aligned are initially seen by Dr. Shaila and then X-Rays are taken and along with a careful clinical exam we ensure that the teeth and gums are in good health because the final outcome is dependent on this.   The second consultation is with our Orthodontist Dr. Chandrashekar, who has an experience of 19 years in this field. He is also an Invisalign certified and trained specialist. All the records are reviewed ,the smile is evaluated and a treatment plan with various options are presented to the patient.

Step 2: Treatment Preparation & Planning

Once it is decided that Invisalign is the right choice, a high speed 3D scan is arranged. This takes approximately 15 minutes and is absolutely pain-free. A series of intra and extra oral photographs are taken. A treatment plan is formulated in conjunction with the technical team in California, US where the Global Headquarters of Invisalign is located. Using Clincheck - a simulation of treatment is presented to the patient. This is a customized digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of the smile. Once all doubts are clarified, the treatment is sent for approval and fabrication is started. Within 3 weeks treatment is launched.

Step 3: Treatment Launched

The patient will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by us. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift the teeth into place, according to the treatment plan, until a  beautiful new smile is reached.

Step 4: Treatment Closure

After treatment, pictures are taken and pre and post treatment pictures are compared & retainers are given to maintain the alignment achieved.
